Spaniard Oscar Pereiro got his coveted yellow jersey and most especially the title of the 2006 Tour de France Champion after almost a year and a half, after losing it to a great comeback from American Floyd Landis in the final grueling mountain stages of the 2006 tour.
Landis had been disqualified after testing positive for synthetic testosterone. The american is now appealing in the Court of Arbitration for Sports.
