Danilo Di Luca Out From the Giro di Lombardia

Giro d'Italia's (Tour of Italy) recent champion is out of the the UCI's last race of the elite series after being banned by the Italian Olympic Committee from another doping scandal.

Cadel Evans is now favorite to win the overall UCI Pro Tour title. Evans, who had trailed Di Luca with 227 points, followed by Tour de France winner Alberto Contador with 191 and UCI Pro Tour defending champion Alejandro Valverde with 190.
