To Ride or Not to Ride

I just got off from work about 4pm yesterday and it's been raining for like a week now. But still, I couldn't resist and tried my luck for my usual late afternoon rounds around Daang Hari. Its about a 20km rolling concrete road in Alabang, south of Manila usually crowded by cyclists over the weekends.

I was hoping to see other cyclists that afternoon, but I guess they're right. Its about to rain any minute now. I was thinking, who cares it's just a rain anyway. I've had my share of a not so good day. I concentrated on my scheduled training plan for that day and forget about the rain. If it rains, it will rain anyway. I don't mind getting wet, but my bike will, thats my concern! =)

It was about 5:30pm with very thick clouds. Its getting dark. Okay, I was thinking now is time to head home. I live just across a subdivision 5kms from Daang Hari. To my surprise, the moment I entered the village gate, the streets were wet and it seemed the rain just came by 5 minutes ago to grnat me of my afternoon cycling delight.
